Objects and Memory has been PBS's national
prime time special in commemoration of the seventh anniversary of 9/11.
In telling the stories of people driven to collect and preserve objects
in the wake of momentous events, it raises important questions about
how such apparently insignificant things can come to symbolize
experience and emotion. DVDs licensed for educational/institutional
and library use, as well as those for personal home use, are available
